Cycle of Decline: Analysis of UK Churches

After several years of research, experience, and discussion with pastors in the United Kingdom, Dr. Congdon observed a repeating cycle in the UK churches. Once strong, premillennial churches succumbed to a series of steps that led them to an amillennial position and with it a decline spiritual vitality. The frequency of the pattern suggests a warning to each church - it could happen in your church.

Upon his return to the United States, Dr. Congdon has observed the same trends in many churches. Part of the ministry of Congdon Ministries International is to strengthen premillennial churches by helping them to understand the dangers facing them today. It is our desire to assist the local church and to break the cycle of decline.
